Agentic AI

Agentic AI describes systems that can autonomously break a goal into steps, call tools or APIs, and take action across a workflow with limited human intervention — as opposed to a traditional chatbot that only responds to individual prompts. Agentic deployments raise the stakes on governance controls (especially Human-in-the-Loop gating) because the system can now take real-world actions, not just generate text.
